Calle Constantina

The brief for this project in Moraira, Spain, was to design an independent, first-floor apartment above an existing bungalow for a multigenerational household. The new story is a structural and visual continuation of the existing house, with the exception of a striking steel staircase that hints at the contemporary addition while echoing in form some of the building's original curvilinear Mediterranean features.

This project is currently on hold due to updated provincial building regulations.
